Is this safe for all surfaces?
Yes! Our formula is safe to use on fiberglass, gelcoat, painted surfaces, metal, chrome, plastic, rubber, and vinyl. It’s non-abrasive and leaves no residue behind.
Can I use this on my boat engine?
Absolutely. Cancel The Salt is engine-safe and designed for use in marine engine flush systems. It helps dissolve internal salt deposits, which can boost performance and extend engine life.
Do I need to scrub the salt off?
Nope. Just spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse or wipe clean. The chemistry does the heavy lifting — no harsh scrubbing required.
Does it leave a coating or residue?
It leaves behind an invisible protective barrier that helps repel moisture and prevent salt from sticking again — but it won’t leave any greasy film or buildup.
Can I use it on my vehicle?
Yes — it works great for removing road salt from cars, trucks, trailers, and underbodies. It’s safe for paint and chrome, and helps prevent rust and corrosion.
How often should I use it?
After every saltwater outing or salty road exposure is ideal. For best results, use it as part of your regular maintenance routine — especially before storage.
Will it harm decals, wraps, or wax?
No. It’s designed to be gentle on coatings while still being tough on salt. Always test on a small area if you’re unsure, but most wraps, waxes, and decals are unaffected.
Is it made in the USA?
Yes — we proudly formulate and produce our products in the USA.
Fiberglass, chrome, gelcoat, plastic, rubber, vinyl, paint, and metal — even engine parts.
Formulated to be non-toxic, non-abrasive, and non-corrosive. No harsh scrubbing needed.
